The Interest Collar Coat takes its cues from mid-century motoring — a time when British drivers favoured outerwear that was straightforward, durable, and quietly stylish. Its design is rooted in the practical coats worn around early motorsport paddocks, reimagined today with a sharper, more modern line.

Cut and made in England, the coat is crafted entirely from 100% cotton — with a brushed corduroy collar for texture and depth — using fabric from Brisbane Moss, a Lancashire mill with over 150 years of expertise. Their richly dyed and characterful cottons, long associated with British workwear, give the coat both heritage and refinement in equal measure.

Provenance

Made in Britain

This garment was cut, sewn and finished in London by a team of makers we know well. Their workshop has been producing outerwear for decades — quietly, carefully, and to a standard that speaks for itself.

We choose to make all our clothing here in Britain not for nostalgia, but because we believe in working closely with the people behind each piece. It allows us to stay close to the process, make better decisions, and uphold a level of craft that’s getting harder to come by.
