The Founders
Our Story
Ginetta Clothing was founded by two sisters who grew up around Ginetta Cars — one of the only truly British-owned and British-based car manufacturers still in operation today, long known for its craftsmanship, engineering and no-nonsense performance.
That same ethos runs through everything we do. We make all our clothing in Britain, using top-quality materials and working with people who take pride in doing things properly. Nothing rushed, nothing overdone — just well-made garments that reflect the same care and craft that Ginetta Cars has stood for since 1958.
For us, it’s about getting the details right — and making things that last.

Provenance
Why Buy British?
Buying British means more than provenance — it’s about supporting a network of skilled makers, independent workshops, and time-honoured craft. At Ginetta Clothing, every piece is made in Britain not just for tradition’s sake, but because we believe in doing things properly — with integrity, intention, and attention to detail.
By keeping our production close to home, we’re able to work directly with talented hands, reduce unnecessary miles, and ensure every garment is made with the care it deserves. It’s a slower process — but a better one.
We’ve grown up surrounded by the values that define Ginetta: integrity, purpose, and a hands-on-approach to building things that last. With a shared love of design and British menswear, Ginetta Clothing is our way of continuing that story, through clothing made with the same care and attention to detail.
